FOS Sun Dried Tomatoes
Our “Fos” Sun Dried tomatoes are produced from quality controlled fruit grown on the fertile plains around the Nestos River Delta - North Greece, with environmental sustainable growing practices that care for the environment.
They are dried at moderate temperatures using geothermal energy to ensure that they are processed with minimal impact and additions.
This processing method avoids the thermal shock that affects the cell structure of the dried tomato, preserves the original color of the fruit, preserving the intense natural flavor and nutrients of the fruit. No salt is used throughout the process.
The red luscious tomatoes are packed
- without any added salt or preservatives, with mountain herbs and oil for immediate serving.
- as a paste ready for uses in dips, marinades and cooking.
- in vacuum pack where they are preserved for further use after their reconstitution.
